Lotus/HMRC court case adjourned again
– Lotus' legal battle with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) over unpaid taxes has been adjourned for a further two weeks, following a High Court hearing on Monday.The case has already been adjourned twice, most recently on September 28, when Renault's letter of intent to purchase Lotus saved the team from administration.Renault last week signed the "principal contracts" regarding a takeover, with the latest adjournment aimed at providing enough time to complete the share purchase.The French manufacturer intends to conclude the takeover by December 16, and also pay off creditors, including the tax authorities, by the end of the year.All parties agreed to a further adjournment...
