Verstappen wins GPUpdate reader vote

– Max Verstappen has been voted the best driver of 2015 by global GPUpdate.net readers for his standout rookie season in Formula 1, ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and World Champion Lewis Hamilton.Verstappen, who took 10 points finishes from this year's 19 races, including fourth places in Hungary and the USA, received 31 per cent share out of the thousands of votes cast.Verstappen, now 18-years-old, ended the season 12th in the overall championship standings, having amassed a total of 49 points for Toro Rosso, comfortably ahead of the other rookie drivers.Vettel followed in second on a 24 per cent share, impressing during his first season with Ferrari by claiming three...
