Grosjean denies he joined Haas to cosy up to Ferrari

Romain Grosjean has denied he joined newcomer Haas to better his chances at securing a Ferrari drive in the future, though admitted his dream is to drive for the Italian marque. The Frenchman left Lotus, which has now morphed into Renault following a successful takeover, to join American team Haas which will compete in its first F1 season this year. Many suspect Grosjean took the leap in order to further his chances at Ferrari, as Haas has a technical relationship with the Scuderia, but he claims that wasn't his thought process.
