McLaren stalwart Alexander dies aged 75

– One of the founders of the McLaren team, Tyler Alexander, has died at the age of 75, the outfit confirmed on Thursday evening.Alexander met Bruce McLaren in the early 1960s and together the pair entered Formula 1, with Alexander remaining linked to the team for much of his career until he retired in 2009."Alongside Bruce McLaren, who founded the McLaren company in 1963, Tyler Alexander was one of the first pillars of our company – working hard alongside Bruce from the very earliest days – and Bruce couldn't have asked for a sturdier pair of shoulders upon which to help build the team's reputation," said McLaren CEO Ron Dennis."Tyler's expert yet practical...
