Kevin Magnussen linked to race seat with Renault

According to reports in UK media, Kevin Magnussen may yet find a seat on the 2016 grid. The Danish driver sat out the 2015 season, acting as third driver for McLaren after his demotion from a race seat due to the signing of double World Champion Fernando Alonso. Released from his McLaren role towards the end of 2015, he has since tested a Mercedes touring car at Jerez for the DTM series, as well as a Porsche LMP1 car. However, the 23 year old has made no secret of his desire to continue racing in Formula 1 and, according to Danish media, has been engaged in talks with teams over a future role.
