Aston Martin-Force India F1 deal goes cold

Force India has confirmed it will not be joining forces with Aston Martin for the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship, but doesn't rule out the possibility of a collaboration occurring further down the line. The iconic English brand was first linked with a move into F1 towards the end of the 2015 season in what was set to be a branding deal with Force India in conjunction with the Johnnie Walker. Though exact details were sketchy, it was thought Force India could have been rebranded as an Aston Martin team – or have its Mercedes engine rebranded - and run with a Johnnie Walker-inspired livery.
