Manor's 2016 chassis passes FIA crash tests

Manor have confirmed that their 2016 car has passed the FIA's mandatory crash tests, giving the team the green-light to participate in pre-season testing. It's welcome news for the team after it missed all three pre-season tests in 2015, as well as the opening race in Australia, as it struggled to return to the grid after entering administration in late-2014. "Our next instalment: today we completed our final crash test, so we now have a fully homologated chassis. Next stop Test 1 in Barcelona," the team wrote on Twitter. Manor looks set to make strides in 2016 as not only has it secured a Mercedes power unit and a Williams powertrain, it has appointed Dave Ryan to the role...
