Williams set to launch on opening test day
– Williams' Head of Performance Engineering Rob Smedley says the outfit's 2016 car, the FW38, will be unveiled in public on the opening day of pre-season testing in Barcelona.The majority of the 11 Formula 1 teams are expected to conduct a low-key launch when group running begins at the home of the Spanish Grand Prix on the morning of Monday 22 February."We're not going to have any kind of glitzy or glamorous launch, we're just going to launch it on the 22nd [of February] in Barcelona," Smedley explained to Sky Sports F1.Aside from Williams, only the new Haas Formula 1 team has given tentative launch plans, intimating that it will also unveil its first car at the Circuit de...
