Channel 4 confirm live Formula 1 races

Channel 4 has confirmed the 10 Formula One races it will show live in 2016. After the BBC terminated its F1 contract three years early due to savings across the company, Channel 4 became the new broadcaster of the sport. The channel will broadcast F1 for the next three years as part of an share-agreement with Sky, operating a similar system that was in place last season, whereby races will be jointly shown live. The first race that will be broadcasted live will be the Bahrain Grand Prix on 3 April, as well as broadcasting its home Grand Prix live on 10 July and the season finale in Abu Dhabi on 27 November.
