Pat Fry joins Manor Racing as engineering consultant
Manor Racing have confirmed that former Scuderia Ferrari engineering director Pat Fry has joined the team as engineering consultant. After the announcement of Nikolas Tombazis, former Ferrari chief designer, earlier this month as their chief aerodynamicist, Fry becomes the second former Ferrari engineer to join Manor for the 2016 season. Fry has a wealth of Formula 1 experience with holding engineering positions with Benetton, McLaren and Ferrari since 1987 but has been out of regular work since a reshuffle in management at Ferrari where he left the company at the end of the 2014 season.
