Maldonado eyeing F1 return in 2017

– Pastor Maldonado's manager, Nicolas Todt, says that the Venezuelan is keen to return to Formula 1 in 2017, after losing his seat at Renault for the new season.Maldonado announced on social media on Monday that he will not be on the grid in 2016, with Kevin Magnussen due to replace him as Jolyon Palmer's team-mate."We haven't given up on Formula 1 and we will be working to find a way back, hopefully next year," Todt explained to Motorsport.com, when asked about Maldonado's future."As for this season, it is too early to say what he will be doing."Maldonado's Formula 1 exit follows on from a fallout between his backer, Venezuelan state-owned oil company PDVSA, and...
