Daniel Ricciardo completes over 100 laps en route to P2
Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo was one of those to use the Pirelli UltraSoft compound on Tuesday, resulting in a battle with Sebastian Vettel for fastest man. Ricciardo finished P2 on the timesheets after a morning battle with his former teammate when the pair tried out the new UltraSoft Pirelli compound. Ricciardo, then Vettel, then Ricciardo, then Vettel as the two traded blows – a battle Vettel won by 0.7 seconds at the lunchtime break. The battle was called off in the afternoon as Red Bull swapped to longer running, putting in over 100 laps.
