Jenson Button: 'Progress with deployment has been massive'

Jenson Button has praised the progress made by Honda over the winter, saying that he can feel the 'biggest improvement in fourteen months' from the engine. After a year in the doldrums with Honda's return to F1 with McLaren last year, the team appear to have found at least some reliability and speed over the winter. Aside from some technical troubles at the end of last week's testing, the car has usually completed at least a race distance every day and with times that are solidly midfield. “This is the biggest improvement in the power unit that I’ve felt in the last 14 months.' said Button on Wednesday evening.
