Alonso 'sad' over Formula 1 rules confusion

– Fernando Alonso says he is "sad" to see the confusion surrounding Formula 1's regulations for the upcoming season, just two weeks before the Australian Grand Prix opener.Formula 1 last week outlined plans for a revised, live knockout qualifying format, though Bernie Ecclestone has suggested that it may need to be delayed to fully prepare software.McLaren-Honda driver Alonso feels that the lack of clarity over the changes, added to already complex sporting and technical regulations, risks turning away more fans from the sport."It's sad.
