Verstappen wants ‘to go forward' in 2017

Max Verstappen concedes he could spend a third season at Toro Rosso next year but would rather climb toward 'the top of the top.' Verstappen debut season in Formula 1 earned the Dutch racer much praise and applause as he demonstrated speed and ability. His results, which saw him miss out on the podium with two P4s, caught the attention of Formula 1's big teams with the likes Ferrari and Mercedes both believed to be interested. But for now at least Verstappen will be staying on at Red Bull's junior team where he will spend the 2016 season racing alongside Carlos Sainz. After that, though, he's dreaming of the big leagues.
