Ferrucci joins Haas as development driver

Haas F1 Team Haas hs confirmed that it has signed young American racer Santino Ferrucci as its development driver. Ferrucci, 17, placed 11th in European Formula 3 last season and this year will compete for DAMS in GP3. Ferrucci will attend races and tests with the outfit and also conduct simulator work. "My goal since I first started racing was to become a Formula 1driver, and to be an American who is part of an American team is something I take a tremendous amount of pride in," said Ferrucci.
