Renault duo takes positives out of Aus GP

As the teams turn their attention from the Australian Grand Prix to the Bahrain Grand Prix, Renault drivers Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer has remained positive despite not scoring any points. Magnussen, who was initially a lap behind everyone else on the grid because of a punctured tyre, managed to claw his way to 12th position after a red flag was waved because of the Fernando Alonso and Esteban Gutierrez collision, which allowed him to catch up to the rest of the drivers. 'We have a really good car; the pace is strong, as is the baseline set-up. It's something we can continue to work from and evolve to gain more performance,' he told crash.net.
