Roberto Merhi finds refuge in WEC with Manor
Former Manor F1 driver Roberto Merhi has found a seat for 2016. Merhi, who raced with Manor in Formula 1 in 2015, failed to land a seat at the team, or another, for this season. This came about as Manor opted for an entirely new driver line-up of Pascal Wehrlein & Rio Haryanto to go alongside their new management structure, leaving the likes of Merhi, Will Stevens & Alexander Rossi scrabbling for 2016 commitments. Will Stevens joined the new Manor WEC team, which is run by former F1 bosses Graeme Lowdon & John Booth.
