Bahrain FP2: Rosberg retains the upper hand

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg retained the momentum of his outstanding form throughout day one of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, ending FP2 faster than his teammate and chief rival Lewis Hamilton who had to settle for second best. Rosberg's best time of 1:31.001 was nearly a quarter of a second up on Hamilton's top time, and a tad over a second up on the best of the rest, which surprisingly was Jenson Button in the McLaren in third.
