Vandoorne 'maximised everything' to beat Button

– Formula 1 debutant Stoffel Vandoorne says he "maximised everything" as he out-qualified McLaren team-mate Jenson Button at the Bahrain Grand Prix.Vandoorne has replaced Fernando Alonso for this weekend's race, after the Spaniard was deemed unfit following the rib fractures he sustained in Australia.Vandoorne set the 12th fastest time in Q2 to finish just under a tenth of a second clear of Button, at a circuit where he has triumphed on three occasions in GP2."I'm quite happy at the moment," he explained to reporters."Since practice I felt very confident in the car, straightway I knew I could match Jenson's lap times."[But it's] always tricky to know...
