Raikkonen: Victory challenge scuppered by start

Ferrari Media Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen was left to rue a slow start, which scuppered his prospects of challenging for victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Raikkonen qualified in fourth position, though was effectively third on the grid after team-mate Sebastian Vettel suffered an engine failure on the formation lap. Raikkonen, however, dropped to fifth on the first lap of the race and was 10 seconds behind leader Nico Rosberg by the time he recovered to second place, a position he held until the finish.
