Ricciardo delights in 'awesome' front row spot

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo says the outfit did not expect to qualify on the front row of the grid in China, as he set the second fastest lap in Q3. Ricciardo edged ahead of both Ferrari drivers during his final run in Q3 to qualify second to Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg. It is the fourth time in his career that he will line-up from the front row of the grid as he equalled his best qualifying result.
