Hamilton edges Rosberg in Mercedes duel – FP3 Report

Russian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton edged a close battle with team-mate Nico Rosberg in Sochi ahead of qualifying. Despite the opening of the session being contested between Daniel Ricciardo, the two Force Indias and the two Toro Rossos, it quickly turned into a battle between the two Mercedes drivers. Lewis Hamilton's initial time of 1:38.217 was beaten by almost half-a-second by Nico Rosberg, despite running wide at the final corner. However, with Rosberg's time still shy of the fastest times seen on Friday, Lewis Hamilton soon retook the lead of the session with a 1:37.325, four tenths faster than Rosberg.
