Rosberg continues victory run in Russia

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg maintained his victory run in the Russian Grand Prix on Sunday, while team-mate and nearest championship rival Lewis Hamilton recovered to finish second. Rosberg made the most of pole position to lead from start-to-flag, controlling the race from the front and posting a new lap record en-route to his first grand slam and his fourth win of the season. It was also his seventh triumph in succession – a feat only ever achieved by three other drivers in the history of F1, namely Sebastian Vettel (2013), Michael Schumacher (2004) and Alberto Ascari (1952-53). The result sees Rosberg further stretch his lead in the Drivers’ Championship from 36 points to 43....
