Wolff: Mercedes feared double retirement
– Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has revealed that the manufacturer briefly feared that neither Nico Rosberg nor Lewis Hamilton would reach the finish of the Russian Grand Prix, amid reliability concerns.Rosberg dominated proceedings in Russia to score his fourth win of the season, while Hamilton recovered from qualifying woes to complete a Mercedes 1-2, the squad's second such result in 2016.However, both Mercedes W07 Hybrids encountered technical problems across the course of the 53-lap race and Wolff says the squad was worried."That race was anything but plain sailing – it was a pretty stressful experience to get both cars home, and there was a point when we thought neither of...
