Ocon to get FP1 outing at Spanish GP
– Renault test and reserve driver Esteban Ocon will take part in free practice for the Spanish Grand Prix later this month, the Frenchman confirmed on Sunday.Mercedes-backed GP3 champion Ocon, who has signed to race in the DTM this year, is set to run in Friday's first session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Ocon carried out testing with Mercedes-supplied Force India last year, and previously made an FP1 appearance with Lotus at the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.Ocon, who is being loaned out by Mercedes, did not confirm who, out of regular drivers Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer, he will replace for the session.Sergey Sirotkin appeared for Renault in FP1 in Russia.
