With rumours abounding that Red Bull are to promote Max Verstappen and demote Daniil Kvyat with immediate effect, let's talk about whether the move makes any sense. Daniil Kvyat is a man in the doghouse at Red Bull right now. He single handedly ruined the RBR team's race in Russia, as well as taking out the brand's previous star and now Ferrari incumbent Sebastian Vettel. It was a far cry from the measured and aggressive move that drew Vettel's ire at the start of the Chinese GP the fortnight before; a race Kvyat went on to claim P3 in and his second F1 podium.
