Toro Rosso engineers depart after Verstappen promotion

Spanish Grand Prix – Max Verstappen's promotion from Toro Rosso to Red Bull Racing has been immediately followed by the departure of his race engineer Xevi Pujolar. Pujolar, an experienced race engineer for the likes of Juan Pablo Montoya, Eddie Irvine, Mark Webber, Ralf Schumacher, Bruno Senna & Jean-Eric Vergne, joined Toro Rosso in 2014 and has been Verstappen's race engineer since the start of 2015. While himself and Verstappen are understood to have enjoyed a good working relationship, Pujolar will not be following the Dutch driver to Red Bull and has left Toro Rosso.
