Bite-size tech: Ferrari SF16-H set-up
It looks like a scene from a Frankenstein movie, as the engineers ready the SF16-H with pipework strewn all over the chassis. However, these pipes are used to deliver the required liquids and lubricants to the various power unit, hydraulic and brake circuits around the car in order to prime it for use tomorrow. You'll also note that the car has been prepared with an asymmetric brake duct layout at the front of the car. After all, the Circuit de Catalunya is front limited in terms of tyres, pointing an emphasis on precise thermal management of both the brakes and tyres. It's the front left tyre which is of most concern and is perhaps why the team will adopt just the blank front face...
