Bite-size tech: Force India VJM09 set-up
Force India arrives in Barcelona with a weight of expectation as it introduces a raft of updates to the VJM09 hoping to elevate itself within the chasing pack. As the team prepares itself for practice tomorrow, one of its wings is supplemented with some items that will help gather further information about their performance and surely help to correlate the results with its CFD and wind tunnel findings. In the foreground we have circled two metal mounts on the wings footplate, from which a kiel probe array will likely be hung in order to ascertain how the airflow moves out around the front wing and tyre.
