Ferrari soft claim 1-2 in first practice for Spanish GP The Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen used the soft-compound Pirelli to claim the 1-2 in the opening practice session for Spanish Grand Prix. All focused to Max Verstappen in his Red Bull first appearance, he made sixth fastest, 0.169secs behind new team-mate Daniel Ricciardo. Ferrari were the only team to tried the soft tyre, which is about a second a lap quicker than the medium used by Mercedes. Also the Italian squad tested new front-wing in both cars. Mercedes was run with updated seedpods, floor and front wing, championship leader Nico Rosberg was 0.503s shy of Vettel’s best lap-time. Lewis Hamilton ended FP1...
