Rosberg fastest despite sensor problem in Spanish GP FP3 Championship leader Nico Rosberg was fastest in the final practice before qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix on Saturday. Rosberg, who also led the practice timesheets on Friday, was one tenth of a second in front of Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel. The German abandoned his first flying lap attempt at a late qualifying run on the soft tyres when his car went into protective limp mode. The Champions found it was a sensor issue and resolved it in time to get him out for the final few minutes of the session.
