Rosberg and Hamilton crash out of Spanish Grand Prix

Both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton will take no further part in the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix after an accident which saw both drivers collide on the opening lap. Hamilton started the race from pole position but Rosberg took the lead on the opening corner with a brilliant move around the outside of the pole-sitter. Through the long right-hand turn 3, Hamilton had the faster pace and exited the corner quicker than his team-mate, it was at that point where Rosberg moved across to block the Englishman, forcing him on to the grass. As soon as Hamilton hit the grass he lost traction and the Mercedes spun around, careering in to the side of Rosberg’s car, forcing both of the Mercedes cars out...
