McLaren will replace Mercedes as F1 champions – Dennis McLaren-Honda F1 team will be the first to beat Mercedes to a future Formula 1 World Championship, team chairman Ron Dennis predicted on Monday. Since tie-up with Honda at the start of the 2015 Formula 1 season, the Woking based squad have scored 39 points with a best result of P5 at 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix, Mercedes' earned 860 points in the same time period, which included 20 race victories. Dennis made a fully-confident prediction in a BBC radio interview; his team will take the titles away from Mercedes.
