Sainz laments slow Toro Rosso pit stops

Red Bull/Getty Images Carlos Sainz Jr. believes Toro Rosso's slow pit stops during the Monaco Grand Prix compromised his chance of scoring a strong haul of points. Sainz's first stop took 27.7 seconds - from pit entry to exit - while his second lasted 28.1s, which compares unfavourably to the best of the race, achieved in a time of 24.6 seconds by Williams. Sainz Jr. finished the race in eighth place but believes a better result was within reach.
