Rosberg: Monaco pace more "painful" than team orders

Nico Rosberg says the lack of pace he suffered in the Monaco Grand Prix was more 'painful' for him than being told to move over for teammate Lewis Hamilton. The German struggled to get his tyres operating in the right performance window in the wet conditions, and that meant he held up Hamilton in the early stages as race leader Daniel Ricciardo streaked away. Mercedes decided that if Ricciardo was going to get beaten then Hamilton needed to be released, so it ordered Rosberg to move over for his title rival.
