Sergio Perez aiming at F1 heavy weights

Sergio Perez hopes his recent podium at Monaco will help solidify his standing within the F1 community. Perez has recently digressed his thoughts concerning his place within F1, believing the difficult times he encountered during his time with McLaren have otherwise left a blemish on a good career with Sauber and Force India. He said he is setting his sights on the main teams and wants to show them he is a good candidate and should be considered when the 2017 driver bid begins. “All I can do is keep doing my job, keep doing as well as I can, keep improving as a driver,' Sergio Perez said in a statement.
