Ricciardo assured pit blunder a one-off

– Daniel Ricciardo says he has been assured by Red Bull that its Monaco Grand Prix pit-stop blunder will not happen again, after the team handed the race victory to Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton.Ricciardo, who started from pole position, led the early stages of the wet/dry encounter but dropped behind Hamilton after changing to Intermediates, as the Briton stayed out on track.Hamilton was the first of the pair to pit for slick tyres, with Ricciardo coming in a lap later, but Red Bull did not have his Super Soft rubber ready, and he re-joined the action in second place.Ricciardo, speaking during Thursday's pre-race drivers' press conference at the Canadian Grand Prix, made clear that...
