Claire Williams awarded OBE in Queen's honours list

Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's 2016 Birthday Honours List. Claire, daughter of co-founder Sir Frank Williams, has been awarded the honour in recognition of her services to Formula One, having held a senior role at the team for several years, including commercial manager, director of marketing and communications and head of communications before that. The 39-year-old has helped the team to regain some of its past glory, having finished in the top three for the past two seasons.
