Rosberg confident he can beat Hamilton in the race

Canadian Grand Prix – Despite losing out on pole in qualifying, Nico Rosberg is confident he can get the better of Lewis Hamilton in the race. Rosberg was just six hundredths of a second off Hamilton after the first run in Q3. Neither driver managed to improve on their second runs, with Rosberg locking up into Turn 1 and running wide and Hamilton losing time in the middle sector. “Even if I just missed out on pole, the front row is still a good position to start the race tomorrow,” he said, “Today, Lewis was just a little bit quicker on the first flying lap, so I gave it an extra push on the second run to close the gap – but I got it wrong and had a lockup at the first...
