Verstappen says degradation prevented a podium finish

Canadian Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen bounced back from his Monaco disappointment by finishing P4 in Montreal. The Dutch driver finished the race P4, having fended off the attention of teammate Daniel Ricciardo early on. With Red Bull not looking quite as sharp in Montreal, not helped by the cold conditions of the track, Verstappen says the podium wasn't quite possible due to the higher than expected tyre degradation: 'It was a good race. Just a shame we didn't finish on the podium in front of the Williams but, early on, we realised we had too much degradation on the tyres.
