Pointless North American race for Haas

Canadian Grand Prix – Haas head home empty handed after their first race on their home continent, as neither driver managed to break into the points positions. Starting outside the points in P13 & P14, Esteban Gutierrez & Romain Grosjean reached the chequered flag in the exact same positions. Having started the race with the intention of single stopping, Haas changed their drivers to a two stopper early on. Having run a slightly longer opening stint, before putting in a shorter middle stint compared to Gutierrez, Grosjean found himself ahead of his teammate as the second half of the race unfolded.
