Kevin Magnussen: “We just couldn’t get the performance we wanted”

Kevin Magnussen thanked his mechanics for getting a car ready to allow him to race in the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday after crashing during Saturday morning practice damaged his first. The Renault Sport F1 driver had missed qualifying on Saturday and started at the back of the field, but struggled to get the performance needed to get any higher than sixteenth on race day due to the cold conditions at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
