Red Bull to test at Paul Ricard

Red Bull is to test its 2014 car at Paul Ricard in France on Tuesday and Wednesday this week to help Pirelli's preparations for 2017. As part of a deal agreed with teams to ensure that Pirelli has enough opportunity to develop the wider tyres that are coming for next year, an extensive testing programme has been put together. The Paul Ricard test, which will be conducted by Red Bull junior Pierre Gasly, will be followed by similar 2014 car runs with Mercedes and Ferrari at Silverstone, Fiorano and Vallelunga. Once that first phase of testing is complete, Pirelli will then be running modified 2015 cars that will simulate the higher downforce levels that are expected for 2017. Tests will take...
