Button at Williams F1 in 2000 Jenson Button linked with his seat at Williams for 2017, F1 veteran Massa admitted in Monaco that with his contract expiring, the time was right to start “working on what the future holds”. Speaking after European Grand Prix in Baku, Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams said that the team were in talks with a lot of different drivers ahead of next season, but refused to rule out the notion of the former world champion returning to the team where he made his F1 debut back in 2000.
