Tost expects STR/Sainz Jr. renewal soon

– Toro Rosso Team Principal Franz Tost says he expects Carlos Sainz Jr. to remain with the outfit into 2017, and hopes a deal with the Spaniard will soon be finalised.Sainz Jr. has been backed by Red Bull throughout his single-seater career and graduated to Formula 1 with Toro Rosso in 2015, staying on at the team this season.Sainz Jr.'s prospects of moving up to Red Bull have been dented with the team having recently promoted Max Verstappen alongside Daniel Ricciardo, both of whom are on long-term deals.However, Tost believes Sainz Jr. will stay at the Faenza-based squad into 2017."Red Bull Racing for next season is full with Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen," Tost is...
