Potential grid penalty looming for Vettel ahead of Qualifying
British Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished FP3 complaining of another gearbox issue on his car after getting a fresh gearbox overnight. Vettel finished the final practice session in P5, but slowed considerably just after the chequered flag to end the session. He radioed in to say that he thought the gearbox on his car had failed again, having just been fitted out with a fresh one last night. The Ferrari man picked up a grid penalty last weekend in Austria for a new gearbox outside of the six consecutive race sequence the rules demand.
