Ericsson misses qualifying after crash

– Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson has been ruled out of qualifying for the British Grand Prix, after his heavy accident in Saturday morning's final practice session.Ericsson lost control of his Ferrari-powered C35 over the exit kerbs at Stowe, then slid back across the track and into the barriers, causing significant damage.Ericsson removed himself from the car, and gave the thumbs-up to the crowd, before being taken to hospital for what Sauber described as "routine check-ups".However, with Sauber still waiting for test results, Ericsson was unable to take part in qualifying, with Felipe Nasr the team's sole representative in the session.
