Ferrari goes softer than F1 rivals with Hungary tyre choices
Ferrari will be the F1 team with the most supersoft tyres in the Hungarian Grand Prix next week. The Italian manufacturer announced the tyre set choices for the Hungaroring race on Tuesday, revealing that Ferrari will have nine sets of ultrasofts for the weekend. Rival Mercedes will have eights sets, while Red Bull has opted for seven, instead picking more sets of soft tyres. As expected, most teams have chosen just a single set of mediums. The exception is Force India and Haas' Esteban Gutierrez, who have picked two sets of the harder compound. The soft and medium will be the mandatory tyres that need to be used at least once during the race.
