Final in-season test begins at Silverstone
Silverstone – The final in-season test of the 2016 calendar has gotten underway at the Silverstone circuit, and sees ten teams take to the track for two consecutive days. Starting on Tuesday morning, the test marks the final bit of non-Grand Prix track time available to the teams. With many having chosen to run their more experienced drivers at the first test in Spain to maximise earlier development of their machinery, this later test has resulted in quite a few unfamiliar names driving the cars. This is due to testing rules which state that two of the four in-season test days must be completed by drivers who have taken part in less than two Grands Prix. Bearing that in mind, here...
